Description

As a Host, you will be responsible for exceeding the guests expectations by providing them with friendly, prompt and attentive service that is tailored to the guests’ preferences. A Host will be required to greet incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner. The right team player will help set the pace of the dining room as you seat the guests in the dining areas while ensuring a smooth handoff to the service staff. Throughout the day, greet and welcome guests in a friendly and helpful manner, while also assisting parents with children's meals as required. Ensure the dining room remains clean and tidy, maintaining sanitation standards at all times. Communicate positively with both management and co-workers, adhering to nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety standards. Additionally, be prepared to perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress.
  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in managing reservations.
  • Demonstrable customer-service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.
  • Availability to work in shifts as needed.
  • Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift.
  • High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus.
  • Food Handler Certification
Salary Range
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
