Description

As a Baker, your role involves the preparation of small baked goods using various kitchen equipment such as mixers and fryers. Responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning all kitchen equipment while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. A willingness to learn new recipes is essential, along with measuring, weighing, and prepping recipe ingredients. The Baker is involved in kneading, rolling, cutting, and preparing dough, as well as decorating and preparing toppings. Additionally, the role encompasses the regular cleaning and maintenance of baking equipment, utensils, and tools to ensure a smooth and efficient baking process.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role 2+ Years.
  • Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheet.
  • Ability to be on your feet for hours at a time.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 60% of the time.
  • Baker traits we're seeking include: mindfulness (focus), organization and finesse.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of baking.
  • Must be available to work flexible morning hours.
  • Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
  • Food Handlers Certification.
  • TABC Certification. 
Salary Range
$14.50 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30-40 hrs
